vovan-v since this update for the Phone 2a took so long I was expecting Nothing to add some features. Sadly it seems that I was mistaken. Software is getting far behind on the Phone 2a and there is no information that suggests Nothing will address this. It would be a shame to see our phones being abandoned so soon. It would be a huge mistake by a company that has itself in such a high consideration.

I just updated to this new version.

I had an app lock set previously.

Now whenever it asks to use my pin or fingerprint, I see a green tint across my whole screen, it just 10 min far to the update and it’s already really annoying. Fix these soon please.

After May update nothing didn’t fixed any issues in NOTHING 2A, mine is facing slow charging taking around 2 to 2.30 hours to full charge even if I’m using CMF 65w original charger, didn’t fixed greentint issue,still appears in low light,

No OS 3.1 or 3.2 update, still facing heating issues while in normal usage like browsing

Please fix these issues Nothing, mainly charging speed 🙏🙏

Yoriichi The nothing gallery is still the same and they have not changed the default gallary from Google photos to nothing if you take a photo you are still directed to the Google photos app so no change in that.

Since this is a problem that will be fixed when the Camera app, not the Gallery app, is updated, we can expect it to be added along with the LUT update.

RohithTony u do know that the cable and the qality on that is often more important than the “charger”?

i did test 2 different cables and one charged max over 5330mA and the other 2180mA .

and its not good to stress a phonebattery with to high power load, the life cykle of the battery goes down fast with to fast charging

They need to understand that, we need a more reliable experience. That’s what we expect when go for nothing Phones. It is true we need features too, but more importantly a reliable experience is much needed. This update could have gotten better if they would have addressed the green tint issue, camera issues, charging issues. These are some of the most common yet important issues they need to address. Now we have to wait for another 2 months to see if the green tint issue is going to be fixed or not. It’s so annoying to be honest.

Issues to be fixed Asap!

Green tint issue in low light conditions (especially when fingerprint is being used) and pixel burn in black areas.
Camera issue (the photos are really so much oversharpened now, and inconsistency of white balance)
Slow charging speed.

DibyajyotiPriyadarshi The most annoying thing is the over processed photos, they look good when taken before it’s ruined by the processing, it should at least be a choice, there should be a turn off button, and the 3rd party camera support is abysmal, if it’s not stock tye picture is like a bad 3gp video, I use locket with my partner and I have to use the locket on my Oneplus 9 when I want to take photos because of the very intentional incompatibility with other camera apps.

. When locking the screen, the top bar sometimes stays lit. The clock, the signal, the battery. That is, the screen does not turn off completely.

anasamin it just started to arrive on some Nothing Phone 2a devices but I assume that currently India region may be getting it first. EEA phones like mine (Portugal) are still waiting. Previous update (March) also arrived first in India, contrary to what had been happening before. Europe (EEA) region was getting updates in the first batch.
