Google Pay - Device doesn’t meet the security standards for contactless payments

I’m having some trouble with my Google pay, the below is what has come up as an error;

Your phone doesn’t meet the security standards for contactless payments, such as:

Having a rooted device.
Running a custom ROM.
Having an unlocked bootloader.
Running uncertified software.

I haven’t changed anything on my phone, so find it a bit odd it’s not working. Any help would be appreciated.

TrentonHayden Hey, can you share some more information? Which device are you using? Which OS version?
Also if you tried some troubleshooting already, that would helpful to know 🙂

Hi Rob, I am running the 3.0 version of Nothing os, and using a 2a plus. I did try clearing the cache, and data on the google wallet, as well as deleting, and reinstalling the app.
