RapidZapper nah man, all regions have different legal regulations like GDPR for -EEA that doesn’t matter on the global version. Also, the Indian version has this weird-to-non-Indians of requiring an Indian SIM card to activate the phone.
99.9999% of the stuff is the same, the 0.0001% is due to the localised markets.
I come from Xiaomi.EU, which is the Chinese ROM for Xiaomi, pared down to meet the EEA laws and it was always much better than the global (with enhanced Chinese-only features.)
I can unlock my device, root and install the -IND software on my -EEA hardware. I won’t do that but I could if I wanted.
