The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition - inspired by honey bees! Why honey bees, though? Because the Phone (3a) embodies qualities that mimics nature’s most intelligent insect.

The Phone (3a) comes with a feature named ‘Essential Space’, which functions as a second memory for the user. While honey bees are considered to have some of the sharpest memories in the insect world - making this feature feel like a natural parallel to these buzzing insects. Another aspect is their meticulous nature and continuous striving for perfection, evident in their attention to minute details. This dedication to detail is clearly visible in Nothing’s design DNA, since the Nothing Ear (1).
The color palette of the honeybee also resembles the ‘Pop Art’ design culture of the 1960s, which was characterized by the use of bold, contrasting colors. The Phone (3a) Community Edition (Buzz Edition) features a black and yellow color scheme, connecting it to both the ‘Pop Art’ era and the honeybee aesthetic.
The side frame of the phone has etched details of the device’s serial numbers, making each user and device feel exclusive. The ’Essential Space button has a yellow hue to make it visually prominent and emphasize its significance.
