zen_JNXwXzwwFq Do the charging speed of the phone depends on the temperature of my device? I recently got a UGREEN 65w Gan Charger and when i first plugged my device using the nothing cable that my phone came with, I checked on accubattery that it was only at 15w charging speed and a few mins later turned into 5w. Then when I shut it down it goes into 22w, and im wondering is it js because of the temperature of my phone? i live in the Philippines and its summer here to my phone is usually at 37°C above. Anyways just wanted to have a bit of information on how charging works and hopefully have an answer or solutiln to this cause I’m lowkey bummed that im not getting 50w.
hrry zen_JNXwXzwwFq Hey mate, charging speeds depends on many factors including; heat and % charged, the phone will negotiate the charging rate depending on these conditions. This is to protect battery health and also prevent overheating, etc.
zen_JNXwXzwwFq hrry I see, so it adjusts the charging speed to preserve battery life? Can you suggest what steps should I take to help my phone charge faster? I js charged my phone from 20-80% but never noticed the wattage actually go up to 45w. Thank you for responding!
Keerth1n zen_JNXwXzwwFq It will only hit 45W rarely, or maybe never, that’s how they work, you need the perfect conditions for it to hit some high numbers…
zen_JNXwXzwwFq Ohhh I actually never knew about that, I thought that the 50w that was advertised remained consistent throughout the charging, well thanks for clarifying. Will test if it does reach the 0-50% in 30 min mark with my charger, thanks for the help!
SubinVMathew Iam facing different charging speed at different time with the same charger and same cable and iam using cmf 65watt charger does anyone facing the same
