Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how important a well-integrated ecosystem has become for the overall user experience—especially for those of us juggling phones, laptops, wearables, and smart devices. And it made me wonder: Is the lack of an ecosystem what’s really holding Nothing back from reaching its full potential?
Take Samsung for instance. With features like Link to Windows, Quick Share, and Samsung Flow, everything just syncs and flows across devices. Even Motorola has stepped up with Smart Connect, offering continuity across PCs and phones. Not to mention Apple, which has pretty much set the gold standard in this space.
But when it comes to Nothing, while the design and user interface are fresh and exciting, there’s no real “glue” holding its products together—no continuity features, no tight integration with PCs or tablets (yet), and no ecosystem to keep users truly locked in. Right now, we can try to patch things up using Phone Link on Windows, or Nearby Share for quick transfers, but it still feels like we’re missing something truly native and seamless.
So I wanted to ask:
Do you guys feel the same?
Are you managing with third-party apps for now?
Do you think Nothing has plans to build a more integrated ecosystem (maybe with future product launches)?
And if you could choose, what kind of ecosystem feature would you want to see first?
Personally, I’d love to see a deeper integration with Windows (like a full desktop mode or seamless drag-and-drop support), or even a Nothing-branded tablet or laptop to build out the ecosystem.
Would love to hear what the community thinks. Let’s discuss!
