Ok so I don’t know if it’s a glitch or not. My camera app, in the preset settings only shows 2 options to import a LUT. One being “Scan a QR Code” and the other being “Scan a QR Code from Photo in Gallery”. I don’t have an option to import .cube files.

With camera on, Photo, look up to the top right click the arrow choose filters then you will see a little pencil icon left side of the shutter button.. press it then you will see the option to add LUTs.

RohitPakalapati As a Fujifilm owner and photogrepher. THIS is a game changer! Now I need my 3a Pro ASAP!! This is going to change my way of using the camera on the phone for sure !! LOVE IT

Has anyone encountered this? I just bought my 3a and been wanting to try the camera presets. Mine doesn’t seem to have the feature in the “More Settings”. What should I do?

I actually love this Camera Presets. I created some presets to my liking and been clicking pictures with it. It’s quite good.

The major issue that I have with this preset feature is nothing’s camera algorithm also process the picture once we taken the pictures with a LUT. So, some pictures looks pretty great when we clicked it but within few seconds Nothing’s algorithm ruins it by post processing the pictures. I’m not blaming nothing’s camera post processing it actually does a great job with the puctures. But, sometimes it accidentally ruins it and make it look bland. This could be fixed just by adding a toggle. Nothing’s camera post processing on / off.

It’d be great, if they let us use presets for video too. I mean we can create Video presets but we can’t apply any LUT on them. If only they added such option, that’d be epic!!

Amudhan_Sundararajan There is a filter list in post editing app. Maybe make it possible to add LUTs to RAW files then.

Carl has informed us that,

Camera presets are coming for older devices. We need some time since it has to be tuned differently for every device depending on its camera setup.

But already 2 months have passed and there is no date assosiated along with it, making it a protracted event.

And the other thing that is still not confirmed is the dates of release of Nothing OS 3.1 and OS 3.2, on the older phones, including Phone (2). Nothing OS 3.2 is already getting released with CMF Phone 2 Pro, and the older phones hasn’t even got OS 3.1. Phone (2) is still their highest paid and with the best chipset flagship phone, but it feels like it still need a lot of optimisation and is underutilised by the team after all these years

I hope that the developer are on it and refining the software. But a date of release would be nice thing to have l, showing that you are committed to the older users also. Maybe features like Essential space is unavailable or impractical to be in older phones but all other features I believe is possible. Hope that these addressed problems will be resolved soon.

This is a great feature to have . Perhaps someone out there could do some film “recipes” just like the the ones that are available for Fujifilm and Ricoh GR cameras?. That would be great fun and also could be the start of something really cool.
