Despite all the excited reviews about the camera (mostly about the lens, as far as I saw) - I’m very UNHAPPY with the colour reproduction of the 3a Pro. e.g., when taking a photo that included a “Do Not Enter” sign (the bright red one with the white bar) - I ended up with a pale sign with a slight orange tinge in my gallery. Mostly, photos look kind of sad. As a result, I haven’t taken one single photo worth keeping that I didn’t have to brush up with Snapseed. And I’m not even comparing it to my wife’s Samsung phone, being aware that they are known for bright (exaggerated) colours. I switched on “auto-ton”, but achieved only minimal improvement. Yes, I can import LUTs, which I find a very interesting option and have played around with it, but I would prefer if the original setting of the camera allowed me to take a photo that resembles reality more closely. Plus, I don’t find the “Filter” option super conveniently placed.
I had a OnePlus phone before and was hoping for similar convenience and features and quality, but I must say I’m pretty disappointed from all three aspects and about to sell the 3aPro after not even two months.
