Nothing Phone 2 Android 15 issues

On 5th of March, I updated my Nothing Phone 2 to Android 15 and its next update to Build number Pong-V3.0-250113-1723-IND. I have noticed several severe issues:

1. The mistouch prevention feature is getting triggered automatically even when I am not covering the top of the phone.
2. Previously, if needed to unlock the phone, I could just touch the screen to wake it up, and then unlock the phone using face, fingerprint, etc. Now, I am forced to first press the Power button to wake the phone up, then unlock the phone. This is a serious UX degradation.

Hopeful that Nothing team will fix these issues soon.

ManasBasumatary is the function to turn on the screen by tapping enabled in the lock screen settings?

ManasBasumatary I’d recommend providing OS feedback via your phone’s Settings > System > Feedback option.

ManasBasumatary yes double tap to lock screen but it’s on and are you still facing the problem??

Anonymous479 You have not understood the issue. Previously, whenever I want to unlock the phone, I could just tap/double tap on the screen, and the phone used to wake up. But, Android 15, I need to press the power button to wake up the screen.
