My phone suddenly stopped charging, although it’s showing charging rapidly. Anyone knows what can be done?

I don’t think the port is damaged, has that been the issue it would have never showed charging rapidly.

So suddenly the phone 2 stopped charging and whenever i connect it to the charger it just keep fluctuating between “ charging rapidly and not charging” please help ……. I’m using nothing’s original cable that came in box and original adaptor of phone 2 my nothing buds and other devices are normally charged on this charger….any solution..??

ParthDeora If you haven’t already done it, try cleaning the charging port with something like a toothpick and see if that helps. Sometimes lint and dirt builds up and prevents the cable from properly making contact.

Hey Nothing Team & Community,

After updating my phone to Pong-V3.0-250113-1723-IND, I’ve noticed that fast charging is no longer working with my Nothing 45W charger. Before the update, it was charging at full speed, but now it only charges slowly.

I’ve already tried:

Checking the charger and cable
Cleaning the charging port
Restarting the device and looking for additional updates
Ensuring the phone isn’t overheating
Using the official Nothing charger and cable

Even after these steps, the issue persists. Is anyone else facing this problem? Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a fix coming soon?

Would love to hear from the community or the Nothing team on this. Thanks in advance!

I’m facing the same issue even after changing cables, and chargers(all nothing products). I also tried cleaning the usb c port in phone and restarting phone. Maybe it’s a software issue, that gets hopefully fixed in next update.

buy an anker charger with your phone wattage or more with QI… chargers should come in the box, not only the cable. I am not paying extra for every phone branded charger i buy.

I only use anker chargers and resistant ugreen cables for everything. Using them for years, not one broken cable, even when i step on the by accident because i’m like charging 5 meters away.

phone (2) to 90% in about 20-30 min from 20-30% (fast enough i dont even notice).

No overheat. No unecessary currents or spykes.

Also check your countries weather… it will slow down charging over 40o celsius , and…

check for god damned dirt on the port with a thootbrush .. lol

I’m facing the same issue.

After the recent update, my Nothing Phone 2 no longer recognizes fast charging when using the official 45W Nothing charger. As a result, it charges very slowly. I’ve tried restarting the phone multiple times, but the issue persists.

At first, I thought it might be a problem with the cable, but both the cable and adapter are working fine. To confirm, I also tested with a power bank that supports fast charging — still the same issue.
