Honestly all of the phones are about the same to me these days. There’s not a lot in any of them that stands out as truly unique. Except the stylus.
I’m an artist / developer / inventor and I draw everything, all the time. I can’t imagine life without drawing things. I bought a Newton the second they dropped, and I bought a Palm Pilot after that, then a Handspring. Apple, for whatever stupid reason, bought into the idea that people don’t want a stylus. That’s true for some usage of the phone.
But the rest of the time, they’re right. I have an iPad mini that I have to carry around so I can draw.
The Samsung Note was my dream phone, then they made it slim, and now it’s like drawing on a banana.
The fold open phones are just more than I need. I want to get rid of the iPad mini, not replace it with my phone.
So if you’re wondering what one feature you could add to the phone that would make me switch from an iPhone, that’s it. That’s the only feature. Decent stylus support. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just something that isn’t part of the Samsung ecosystem and still lets me draw on the screen.
Don’t get me started on third party active stylus pens. This has to be accurate, like the Moto Stylus G or the Samsung Note. I own both, but they’re both too much on the slim side to be useful for drawing things.
As for software, if you add that, I will be more than happy to write a paint app, a note taking app, and an engineering app for that phone.
