Phone (2) - Google Assistant & Updates - Help

1st that I don’t get notified whenever there is new os update and have to manually go to the system update and check for the new os update

2nd thay my google assistant is recognising my voice but the pop up where you can search through the voice is not showing up on the screen ( if I change my assistant settings from gemini to normal google assistant the pop up comes normal and I get the task done )

If anyone knows can you please guide me on this two problems !

1st thing, no one gets notified on new updates and its same from the 1st update. you have to check for update every time. and I guess its not big deal anymore coz we only get bi-monthly updates. you dont need to check it every day.
2nd thing, google assistant and gemini are two diff things I believe. assistant can do stuff but gemini is just AI which works similar to GPT. just voice search. and this issue is not phone related. thats how assistant and gemini works ig.

I have selected the gemini instead of the regular google assistant so now if I use the voice command “hey google” the search will be redirected to gemini instead of normal google search of assistant

That thing is not working properly that Is what I want to say

VatsalChauhan oh you cant select both at same time. Gemini is diff thing , you can do searches and stuff, but with assistant you can do things like call , set alarm and stuff. thats how it supposed to work. they have clearly said which will do what below the info icon. also they have given the description there, whats the issue? I didnt get.

Bro my issue just got solved

And also you can use gemini as your assistant (sure all the things of assistant can’t be done by gemini) but most of the things like information search , set alarm and set timer life stuff

VatsalChauhan I dont use gemini or assistant tbh, tried on ly once. gemini doesnt open things and stuff. I didnt like gemini that much. and glad its resolved for you.
