Who really cares what Carl thinks? As a paying customer, I’m sharing my honest feedback—and I expect that a brand promising a “unique” device experience should actually deliver something different.
Right now, even a $100 phone comes with the same Google Dialer and SMS apps. Initially, that’s acceptable—but at least offer a unique skin or interface with Nothing OS to set your phones apart.
When it comes to areas where Nothing should be improving—are those improvements actually happening? Clearly not. Instead, we’re seeing back-to-back product launches, while quality and customer support remain subpar.
Issues with the Phone (2) series are only partially addressed. CMF product issues? Barely acknowledged. And let’s not even talk about the rapid devaluation of Nothing products—customers are left with little long-term value.
Neither core functionality nor meaningful feature upgrades are being delivered consistently.
Frankly, this reminds me of what happened with Nokia when they stubbornly stuck with Windows —they ignored user needs, failed to adapt, and disappeared from the Indian market. If Nothing continues down the same path, it’s heading toward a similar fate.
As an Indian customer, I expect that if a company earns revenue and profit here, it should meet Indian market standards and address regional needs seriously. Otherwise, it’s just No-kia all over again.
