2022.
Chocolate calendars are nice, but the same chocolate every door is not really my cup of tea. That’s why I look for an unusual calendar every year, a bit more variety. The last two years it was snack calendars with crisps, gummy bears or bars from different countries (with an alarmingly high number of snacks from the USA, a lot of Hershey).
This year will hopefully be completely different, with the calendar I’ve had sitting around since the end of October. A gourmet advent calendar.
I treated myself to a Foodist Gourmet Advent Calendar. (Wow, applause, don’t)
Completely flying blind, I have no idea what to expect, so we start with box 1.
Box 1: (drum roll) It’s……… a gluten free oat & chocolate cookie.
Taste: quite solid
Consistency: crumbly.
