I wanted to share an issue I’ve been dealing with on my Nothing Phone (2A Plus) ever since updating to Nothing OS 3.0. Hoping to see if others are in the same boat or if it’s just me.
After the update, I noticed some weird pixelation and poor screen quality on the lock screen and notification panel when:
1. The phone is in dark mode.
2. I’m using it in a dark room with the brightness turned down.
It’s super noticeable in these conditions, but oddly enough, everything looks fine once I unlock the phone. The home screen, apps, and even the lock screen in light mode work perfectly.
I’m worried this might mess up the AMOLED display over time. Even if it’s a software bug, it’s not a great feeling seeing this on a phone I spent good money on.
It’s just frustrating! I picked this phone for its awesome design and smooth performance, and now I’m stuck with this annoying issue every time I use it in the dark.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
