Sound output on Phone instead of connected BT device on OS 3.0

I’m facing a bug after updating to OS 3.0. When I’m connected to any Bluetooth buds (not just my CMF buds) and someone calls me, the voice comes from the phone instead of the buds. I only get the options to put the call on speaker or use the phone. However, if I make a call, I can talk through the buds and the Bluetooth option appears. This issue started only after the OS 3.0 update. I’ve attached an image below
