Selfie Camera - Processing Help

Can we get an option whether we want to process our selfie images or not please! The selfie image processing looks so ugly. I like the way how the camera looks before I take selfies.

Alessio_matri their team don’t want to discuss the failure things. If we raise voices support team will bombard against you. Camera and AMOLED display quality are the two major issues in Nothing phones.

Every users feels unhappy on camera quality and display part while watching any Netflix or YouTube videos having black background grey colour will sparks out from nowhere and it will steal away watching experience.

Surprised to see that these discussions of Image processing aren’t talked about more by users in the community.

They should really give us the option to switch the processing part off ASAP, the post processing pics are just too unnatural, the quality of the images sucks and I’m really fed up with that since I bought the phone. Updated to the Nothing OS 3.0 OBT 2 today but still they haven’t fixed it yet. Hoping the team looks after this issue in the stable update which is scheduled in December. If the issue still persists then it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the most and the only atrocious thing on the Nothing Phone 2a is it’s Camera.

I don’t think I care as much for the camera as others do, but I totally agree, the processing could improve! I would love the option to switch it off for the selfie camera.

Yes agree pre processed image looks better then post processed they need to do lots of work on camera department I purchased np2 as tech enthusiastic but now feel like bad decision as it’s been almost a 1.5 years hope they do some miracle in nothing os 3

The camera has always been the last of my concerns while getting a new smartphone but when you use it occasionally for stuff, you actually feel the need of having a better module altogether.

And it’s not even like the Nothing Phone 2a doesn’t have it. It does. It’s just the processing part on the photos that pisses me off and I really don’t want it on my phone.

Heera Yes.You are absolutely correct.But we community fellows can’t do anything at all.Just accept as it was .

Well, I guess they don’t feel it is that important to have picture post-processing disabled by default. I mean, the pix look way too unnatural with it! I guess this will be my first and last Nothing phone because there are just too many issues like these which you cannot really do anything about in Nothing’s native apps.
