I’ve always preferred a smaller device. I stopped buying OnePlus devices after the 5T because they were getting bigger and bigger with each new release.
With a “vote with your wallet” mindset, I just chose to not upgrade, hoping a smaller device would come. Smaller devices did come (from Google) but with poorer specs than my ageing OnePlus. Every small, new phone was still a downgrade.
I thought the Google Nexus 5 was the perfect size. In my big hands i could easily reach from corner to corner with my thumbs. It felt great too. Quite premium feeling despite the being mostly plastic.
I’d love a Nothing phone around 140 × 70mm, maybe a touch larger as a trade off for bigger battery. I really feel today’s +6″ screens are unnecessary and cumbersome.
