The Nothing 2a has pretty inconsistent camera performance. Colors look pale most of the time, even with HDR and Ultra HDR turned on. Night photos are way over-processed(you don’t need process every night photo). sometimes we just want a natural shot, so having an option to toggle night mode on or off would be great.
Even Pro mode isn’t delivering. I use this phone mainly for astrophotography, and honestly, it’s been a very bad experience. My old Realme 3(Sony IMX519, released in 2019 ) , which is a much older model, managed to take better shots in Pro mode. As someone really into astrophotography, I had high hopes for this phone, but it’s been disappointing so far🥲💔.
I don’t use the front camera much, so no complaints there—it’s fine for me.
I bought this phone on day one in India because I trusted the NOTHING❤️ brand, but the camera issues have let me down💔 If things don’t improve, I might have to switch to a different phone since camera quality is super important to me.
Is this inconsistency because of the Samsung sensor? Not sure, but I really hope to see some improvements.
1.don’t overprocess photos, especially at night.
2.improve color accuracy—photos often look dull or pale.
3.work on improving Pro mode—it should give users more control and better results.
4.give a toggle option to turn on and off the low light mode or night mode.
