Dear Nothing Team,
This is a message I never thought I’d write. I was incredibly hyped for the Nothing Phone 2A. The design was revolutionary, a breath of fresh air. But lately, that feeling has turned into a deep pang of disappointment.
The camera. It’s just…not there. Frankly, the pictures look like they came from a cheap, off-brand phone. The oversaturation makes everything feel artificial. The washed-out light colors? They’re a designer’s nightmare. Light grey backgrounds turn into blinding white, destroying the entire visual hierarchy when browsing on chrome.
This hurts me to say, but I’ve had to move on. The Pixel 8 simply delivers a camera experience that lives up to the phone’s design promise.
Look, I’m not trying to be a hater. I truly believe in Nothing’s potential. The concept is incredible. But right now, the camera is a deal breaker. If you guys can get that right, create a camera that sets a new standard for amazing phone photography, then maybe, just maybe, I’ll be back. Until then, I’m afraid I’ll have to find my shelter elsewhere.
This decision is a tough one, and I write this with a heavy heart. Here’s hoping you can turn things around.
