I think there’s a new bug on my phone 2a. I set battery health to 80% in custom charging mode but it always charges full without giving battery health notification. This bug was not present in earlier updates. Please fix this issue NOTHING, ASAP!

Have tested charging my 2a. Using a USB tester (battery guru reports 5w less than my USB tester) , i get peaks of 42w charging. My charger is just a simple 100w charger with PD3.0. When the phone was new, it would only charge at 28w max, but after a few cycles - it charges at faster speeds. Charging 50% takes about 30mins. My charging is set to 80% (custom charging mode not smart charging) and the room temperature is 25-27c.

update: After using my phone outside in 45c heat, charging was only 10w when i got home. After cooling the phone, charging started at 42w before tailing off. More of an FYI than probable cause for other peoples slow charging.

Slow charging after an update, I’ve been using anker 65 watts. Once you plug in the indication is charging rapidly but the charging time is 1 hour and 45 mins, sometimes it takes 2 hours to full charge. I charge my phone 20% to 100%.

Yes nothing phone 2a is after update the charging was slow please set the bug it’s thae more than 2 hours

Been facing the same problem, but not consistently. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to charge from 20% or less to 90% (because I have the charging mode), and sometimes, like today, it took more than 45 minutes to charge from 20 something, to 80%.
I use a 45W charger from Ugreen, also I have the option for 65W but haven´t try to charged with that one.

Hi community,

I’m using a Nothing Phone 2A with an original cable and a 45W adapter. However, the device takes around 3 hours to fully charge, which seems quite slow.

I’ve ensured:

Original cable is used

Original adapter is used

Background apps are off

Latest software update installed

Still, charging is slow and doesn’t show “Charging Rapidly”.

Please advise if this is a known issue .

ShimabAnjum same happening to my mobile 2a also, I’m using CMF 65w original charger and cable it’s only taking 12 to 5 watts 🥲
