I would also love to see this feature on future nothing phones and it would definitively make me switch from Xiaomi. I am of the opinion that a phone it a tool that should be as useful and versatile as possible, having an IR blaster on a phone adds a tool with basically endless possibilities and convenience, no need for a remote for every single item that uses IR. Me including many people I know would go for an nothing phone if they added an IR blaster, as this is a crucial part for us.
I am aware that more and more TVs have the possibility to control via an app they have, but often this requires the TV to be connected to the Internet, something that is very unnecessary for this, and also from a privacy standpoint, something that nothing seams to stand behind. And this example it was only TVs, but they are endless amount of devices that use IR and having one remote for all makes life so many times easier.
Once again; I really do hope they will be adding an IR blaster to future phones!
