👥 Heya!
It’s been almost a month using the CMF Phone 2 Pro as my daily driver. This review is based on my usage of the device under the Community Review Program. Device provided by Nothing, not sponsored. All thoughts are my own.

I’ll try to keep this to the point, yet insightful. Let’s dive in!

📱 Design & Build
“It’s fresh.”
“I like the feel.”

That’s what people said when I handed them the CMF Phone 2 Pro. And I agree.
Weight: 185g, slim at 7.8mm
Back panel: Dual finish option - frosted or gloss+matte
Color options: All look good; white stands out the most
Camera bump: Aluminium finish, feels premium
Frame: Plastic, but looks/feels like metal
Buttons: Slightly wobbly volume rocker, power button could be positioned higher
IP Rating: IP54 splash resistance
Coming from Phone (2a), I do miss the more rounded corners. Still, this design has personality. Easily my favorite in this segment.

🎥 Display

Panel: 6.77” AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 10-bit
Touch Sampling Rate: 1000Hz
Brightness: Peaks at 3000 nits (yes, it gets very bright)
Protection: Panda Glass 1681 + pre-applied screen protector
Refresh Rate Control: No LTPO, switch between 60/90/120Hz
Gaming, scrolling, and media consumption are smooth. AOD runs at 30Hz. Slight reflectiveness outdoors (could be from the protector), but overall this is a solid 8/10 display.

🔧 Performance
Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro
Variant tested: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
Antutu score: Claimed 710,000, my unit clocked 670,000

Daily usage:
Smooth UI experience
No stutters in social/media apps, minor lags in camera app
App launch times: YouTube (1.8s), Camera (1.5s), Google (1.1s), IG (1.8s), Gallery (1.3s)

Gaming:
BGMI: ~90FPS even on 120FPS mode, the 90 that we get is constant, smooth
Asphalt: 57–60FPS, capped at 60
Thermals stayed under control in normal indoor conditions
Unless you’re into competitive, this is gonna treat you well.

🔋 Battery & Charging
Capacity: 5000mAh (rated 4920mAh)
Charging: 33W wired (0 to 100% in 80 to 100 mins)
Reverse Wired Charging: 5W
Battery Life:

33W feels slower in 2025 compared to competition.
The slow charging issue reported earlier has been fixed with the recent update.

đź“· Camera
Rear Cameras: Main Samsung GN9 50MP sensor, a 50MP 2x telephoto, an 8MP ultrawide

Photo Performance:
Daylight shots are detailed
Color shift (esp. b/w main and ultrawide) is pretty noticeable
HDR works well in most cases
Skin tones seem pretty flat, need to be worked on
Low light photos are okay, light leaks are common
Autofocus in 2x mode had issues earlier, fixed with recent update
Video:
Rear: Up to 4K 30FPS, decent stabilization
Video quality is good for the price you’re paying
Lens switching is a bit stutter-y, improved with recent update

đź’ˇ Software & UI (Nothing OS)

Highlights:
Clean, minimal, no bloatware
Icon resizing, monochrome mode is cool
Widgets are powerful, though a bit inconsistent
Nothing X app: Excellent for TWS control
Gallery app lacks built-in editing tools
Lock Screen & AOD:
- Six clock styles, limited AOD customization

Essential Space:

Private Space:
- Hidden app space - useful but not app cloning yet
Animations:
Update Promise: 3 years OS + 6 years security patches, best in this price range
