It’s been a week since I switched to the Phone (3a) Pro as my daily driver, coming from the Phone (1), which had faster UFS 3.1 storage.Honestly, I wasn’t sure how’s the performance will be on the 3a Pro using the UFS 2.2, which many reviewers have pointed out as a downside when it comes to long-term performance.
But after a week of use, I can confidently say this, the experience has been surprisingly smooth. Even with over 50% of the storage already filled, the phone doesn’t feel slow or laggy. The UI remains snappy, app launch and close animations are fluid, and general responsiveness is same as what I experienced on the Phone (1).

What really impressed me is the RAM management. The 3a Pro is able to keep apps in memory for 3 to 4 hours, which is great for multitasking and jumping between apps without reloads. This clearly shows how well Nothing has optimized the software for this device.
While many people have raised concerns about recommending this phone due to the UFS 2.2 storage, I personally haven’t noticed any major difference in daily use. It handles regular tasks with ease.👀
