Ive been having alot of ANXIETY sharing my SIM card number with users, and sometimes I give my numbers to the wrong person. Then I feel like I could delete them from their phone without asking.
What if there was a way for each Nothing Device to have their own dedicated Nothing Cellphone number that comes with the phone that can be shared by users, but also regenerateable on request, so that scammers no longer have access to you or your number.
Introducing Nothing Phone Number (NPN). A cellphone number that can be shared with other users using the +NPN prefix (Example of how it would look like: NPN 75 874 7845). You can share it with users who you would trust, you can disable it so that other users no longer have access to it instead of blocking their phone number entirely then ending up being stalked with a different phone number. This cellphone number should use Nothing’s Phone Protocol (similar to iMessage protocol) when verifying users that chat to you. (Blue bubbles for messaging, blue dialers for calls).
And since we are moving into the ESIM era, Nothing can implement this soon, similar to how Apple implemented iMessage protocol on top of SMS.
