My favourite so far has been the Nothing Phone (3a).
It’s been my daily driver for the past month and I can already see it sticking with me for the next few years.
The overall experience has been great — the haptics, the in-hand feel, everything just clicks.
The camera? Man, it’s gooood. The portrait shots, the new presets — the whole camera app feels on point. I’ve taken so many photos already, I find myself opening the app more than usual. The image processing is something we’ve really mastered here.
The display is pleasing and catches the eye instantly. That blue color had me hooked from launch day. The phone feels premium, the weight is well-distributed, and it’s genuinely satisfying to hold.
Even the speakers surprised me — loud and crisp, which I wasn’t expecting at this price point.
Not to sound too flattery though — there are a few hiccups. The UFS 2.2 storage and RAM optimization could be better, and there’s some minor ghosting in Chrome. But I’m hopeful software updates will take care of that.
And hey, including a transparent cable would’ve been a nice touch — no biggie though😂
