The display, CMF Phone 2 Pro.
A big unit
We got the large (rather tall) 6.77’ panel here - the top area does get out of reach sometimes (large panels are usually preferred in this segment, for multimedia, gaming, etc so yeah).

It is protected
Comes with a screen protector pre-applied. Should be enough to protect your panel from scratches and minor drops, I’d still count on an external, better quality protector cuz I drop my phone harder than my favorite beat everyday.
And yes - it has the Panda-1681 glass, which is a budget alternative to Gorilla Glass. The latter is superior in terms of drop resistance, there’s no in-depth info on how these two match up.
The experience
Okay so on its own, the display on this phone looks solid. A 10bit, HDR 10+, 120Hz, Amoled panel. Stacked.

I compared it with the panel on the Phone (2a) - the colors on the (2a) were more vibrant (more vibrant is not always better, especially if you’re aiming for color accuracy rather than simply a more pleasing viewing experience).

This slight difference could be due to the pre-applied screen protector.
And yes it’s PRETTY bright - reaching 3000 nits at its peak. Although I noticed slight reflections in outdoor usage, even at peak brightness, most probably the screen protector causing this.
No problems in general usage.
We don’t get LTPO here, which does take a hit on the battery. You can switch between 60/90/120 Hz, and AOD is 30Hz.
For gaming?
We’re given a 1000Hz touch sampling rate here, so you definitely CANNOT blame the input delay for your performance in games lol.

The 120Hz support is now available for BGMI, so that completes the experience.
Full gaming test coming soon, but the display nails its part here.
The feel
A good display, combined with a lightweight body, makes it great for multimedia (spoiler alert, the speakers ain’t good enough, doesn’t matter if you use earphones).
As mentioned in my previous post, I fell in love with the rounded corners of the (2a), looks premium, feels better in hand. I Hope the CMF lineup gets it as well.

The Phone 2 Pro, still, is a pretty solid 8/10.
The even bezels all around is what I appreciate the most on the front of this device.
And yes, it is the same display as seen on the Phone (3a).
This was the display on the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
