I’m experiencing several connectivity issues between my Nothing Ear earbuds and my Nothing Phone 2.
When using the WhatsApp app while connected via Bluetooth with my Nothing Ear, I can’t hear audio messages. Although they appear to play correctly, no sound is emitted. Additionally, there are incompatibilities with the Spotify app. Music playback behaves strangely: when sending text messages, the music briefly pauses (without any visual indication) and resumes a few seconds later.
I’ve tried several solutions on my own, such as restarting the device and uninstalling/reinstalling the affected apps, but the issue persists. After turning the phone off and on again, the earbuds work normally for a while, but the problem reappears after several reconnections.
These issues do not occur when connecting via Bluetooth with other headphones or speakers, or when disabling Bluetooth and playing media through the Nothing Phone 2’s speaker. Everything points to a specific incompatibility between the Nothing Ear and the Nothing Phone 2.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any solutions?
