How does the (3a) series handle gaming?

Looking at the Nothing Phone 3a or 3a Pro as a potential daily driver. Wondering how it handles gaming performance and thermals — especially for games like Mobile Legends or Genshin.

Does it get hot with extended play? How’s the battery life under load?

Also considering the Poco F7 Pro and Redmagic 10 Air, so if anyone has experience comparing them (especially in terms of gaming + overheating), would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

jonathantan_NSGc1TlIr8 I play BGMI indian version of PUBG. It works smooth graphics extream+ frame rate. On balanced I get extreme frame rate. Slightly heats.

best is to go see youtube video, but otherwise yes it has good perf and does not heat too much

The 3a is a balanced all-arounder smartphone it can game for sure but just don’t expect too much or try to play with the highest graphics settings available like in Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. Playing games like CODM, PUBG, WILD RIFT yeah its a piece of cake for the 3a won’t even notice any framedrops

7s Gen 3 is not that powerful you can get decent FPS but it’s not consistent the phone will heat while playing Genshin impact and wuthering waves and you will get avg FPS around 45-50 that’s okay but it will lag as the processor is power efficient.

Better opt for phones with 7+gen 3 , 8s gen3 , 8 gen3 , Mediatek 9300 , Mediatek 8400 processor for gaming
