Since the phone 2 pro introduced the interchangeable lenses would a CMF phone with one camera and a dial to change lens be better than a ultra wide and 1x setup?
It will save hardware and software costs and be more consistent across images.
Some downside I though of are that moving parts lead to wear and fragility and autofocusing may be ruined (idk if it’s image based).
If focusing is not based on the image but rather depth maybe NFC can be used to detect the current lens.
