I know voting is closed already, but I still wanted to make a little post about my hardware submission.
The idea behind this design is all about movement—visually and conceptually. The back of the phone uses lenticular printing to shift between colors and designs as you move it, creating something that feels alive and never static. That’s where the phrase “Make The Shift” comes in. It’s a reference to the way the phone literally shifts in appearance, but also a push to move away from the flat, predictable designs we see everywhere.
I designed the back graphics as a nod to the recognizable tech-forward aesthetic that Nothing is known for. It’s a design language I genuinely enjoy working in, so leaning into it felt natural. By combining that look with lenticular printing, the goal was to shift the familiar into something more dynamic, more alive.

Here is what a banner or billboard could look. The design would shift depending on your perspective, just like the back of the phone.
