Abyssal is a concept phone inspired by the deep-sea world — a place of mystery, pressure, and danger. Drawing from the doomsday fish and oceanic textures, the CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) is designed to evoke both beauty and unease.
The colour palette uses deep blues and holographic sheens to mimic oil spills and marine skin. At the same time, the vibrant red accent — UV-reactive material — emerges in sunlight to signal change, danger, or attention. The wave-textured back represents the ocean’s surface, while the recycled plastic frame reflects our shift toward sustainable tech.
This careful composition creates a visual balance, with the red element subtly pulling focus away from the bulky camera bump, making the entire form feel intentional and unified.
