About the colors: I noticed that many official Nothing wallpapers already use color, so I decided to include some. Still, I also created a fully monochrome wallpaper to stay true to the original aesthetic. If you meant the UI accent colors, those were inspired by the Phone (2a) easter egg.
Regarding combining Nothing with CMF, I brought in a bit of CMF inspiration because I think some of its ideas could enhance Nothing without diluting it. I made sure the core style stayed intact tho.
Totally agree on the dot matrix identity. I leaned into that with the dB meter and Pong widgets, both built around the dot font and grid.
I didn’t go for dotted typefaces in my font picks mostly for feasibility. A custom font would’ve taken too long to create, and the default dot font is already available. So I chose clean, modern Google Fonts that fit Nothing’s vibe.
