Music Pauses When Driving a Car - Help

Hi everyone, I just got my Nothing 3a Pro, upgrade from Nothing phone 1 and something that didn’t occur with the old one is now happening in this v3.

I was driving my car with music on bluetooth + spotify and it keeps on pausing. I checked if it was because of the GPS app or any kind of notifications but it doesn’t seem to the case.

And i’ve got no issues when listening to music on my earphones.
Did anyone experience the same behavior ? Is this a configuration that I need to do, or is it a bug that might need to be fixed by Nothing ?

Thx a lot for the suggestions, it’s quite bothering and dangerous when driving to have to play with phone when driving

MaxLeCoq Hey mate,

Have you tried turning off Power Optimisation for certain apps you use for audio streaming? Does this happen across all bluetooth connected devices? Then here are some further troubleshooting:

First

Look at resetting your bluetooth settings (settings > system > reset options)

If still not luck, then try this:

Use ‘adb logcat’ to capture output at the time it would abruptly pause.
Looking at the log, look for `android.bluetooth.device.action.ACL_DISCONNECTED` events.
These logs might reveal an app is stopping bluetooth
Uninstall the app
Try again
