I see possible future Nothing Laptop in two variants: black and white, with partially transparent design like Phone 1&2 and red accents for ports and special keys (like ESC, Power Button, Fingerprint Reader, e.t.c.).
The form factor is thin & light with 13 inch 120Hz OLED display.
I don’t see it comes with Windows inside as the main OS (bloatware, telemetry, ads and lack of any customization would kill the experience), so I suggest a custom Linux distro based on Arch or Fedora with KDE Plasma as the main DE.
So the main features would be:
- Unique and minimalistic design, potentially with glyph system, dot matrix and transparent aesthetic;
- Unique OS with fast, secure and lightweight Linux under the hood, yet beautiful and easy to use, appealing to an average, not tech-savvy user;
- Integration with other Nothing and CMF products on software level (similar to Apple ecosystem);
- Repairability and expandable storage would be a big plus.
