Just wanted to share an issue I’ve experienced twice now with my Nothing Phone (2) — wondering if anyone else has faced something similar.it was random I first had this issue 2weeks ago and today is the 2nd time I am facing it . Sorry i use chatgpt to make it more detailed .
Issue:
Randomly, the phone’s touchscreen becomes completely unresponsive, even though the display still works fine. The screen lights up, shows everything as usual, but doesn’t respond to any touch at all.
Buttons (power, volume) work fine
Haptics are still active
Fingerprint sensor doesn’t respond (likely due to the touch layer being unresponsive)
No visual glitch or freeze — just no touch response
Only fix so far: I have to connect a USB-C mouse and restart the phone. After that, everything works perfectly again. This has happened twice so far, with no specific app or task triggering it. I’m running the latest Indian firmware, fully stock — no root, no custom launcher, no gesture mods. The only overlay-type app I use is Truecaller (for caller ID), but the issue didn’t happen during any call.
It’s super random and rare, but I wanted to put this out there in case someone else is facing the same problem — or if Nothing sees this, maybe they can look into it.
