Why is my Airtel unlimited 5G switching to daily data pack? - help

Currently in airtel there is a system that if you reacharge around 300+ in monthly data pack you get unlimited 5G for free. The thing is my phone just randomly lose connection and start using the daily pack resulting in my data draining and ultimately needing to recharge for 33rs daily. Is there something wrong. Btw with my previous device I never have this problem and I haven’t changed location.

Yes, 5g is very wierd in 3a pro. There is connectivity issue in phone. At same time and same place other phones are picking up good 5g. Where as my phone is showing 4g which is giving problem in using net. I hope this problem will get solved in future updates

Probably got to do something with airtel signal. I was having the exact same issue at my home some months ago. When I returned home after a few months outside issue is resolved. Mu unlimited airtel 5g is working perfectly now.

Turn off “Smart 5G” and turn on “5G Standalone” from the “Network & Settings” option. Then, switch your device to ‘Airplane Mode’ for 1–2 seconds.

This issue might be related to your internet provider. Hopefully, this solution works for you.

Airtel works on NSA, So If you are connected to 4G, It shows 5G sometimes (But works on 4G spectrum), And 4G is not unlimited, that’s why it is consuming data from 4G data pack…

Try to navigate to different location and check if network Moster app says NSA 3500

If it shows that, that means you are connected to 5g

If not then you are disconnected from 5G and 4G data being used

I had the same issue with my Airtel in Phone (2) also. It’s not the phone, it’s an issue from the Airtel and it’s not new. It has been going on for over an year to so many users. They cheat their customers. I stopped using Airtel. Jio has no issue and sometimes I get speed upto 1.9 Gbps.
