Phone (3a) Pro | Flashlight turning off after a very short amount of time

Today I got my nothing 3a pro and when I turned on the flashlight it started turning off automatically within hardly 2 mins of turning it on…what’s the possible solution for this?

In nothing phone 3a pro when you on a flashlight it will automatically stop after 30 sec or sometimes after 3-4 sec, i don’t know why it is behaving like this, if we switch off phone then turn on, flash light issue will not come for next 5-10 min but after that again issue is coming, and sometimes if we are using facebook and watching any videos then if any phone came, phone doesn’t show any incoming phone we have to go to notification bar and attend a phone this is very worst experience. Please resolve this issue and one more is there sometimes screen is also legging.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been facing an issue with my Nothing Phone (3a) Pro where the flashlight/torch turns off automatically after a few seconds (sometimes around 30 seconds or less), even when I haven’t touched anything.

This happens whether I turn it on from the quick settings or use voice commands. It’s quite frustrating, especially when I need the torch to stay on for longer periods.

I’ve checked battery settings, disabled optimization, and made sure the OS is up to date. Still, the issue persists.

Is this a known bug? Or is it a feature for thermal/battery management? Any workaround or fix would be really appreciated. Hope this gets addressed in a future update if it’s a software glitch.

I am also facing the same issue on nothing phone 3a pro…. everytime flashlight torch automatically gets off after 10-30 seconds…. it’s probably a software glitch….has anyone found any solution

Most of the nothing phone 3a pro users are facing it but no one is responding from nothing side….

Nothing phone 3a pro flashlight turnoff automatically within few seconds (10-15)

I tried following but not resolved -

Tried in safe mode - issue persists
Tried third-party app - issue persists
Restarting phone- issue persist
Phone is up-to-date
Tried clearing cache - issue persists

In all I tried every possible solution but issue remains…so it is most likely software or hardware issue.

             Nothing team needs to acknowledge it and provide solution either through software fix or any other method.

        It will be appreciated if anyone from nothing team replies here….and provide satisfactory solution.

Yes I sent mail to nothing support and they asked me to visit nearby service centre…which I will do when time permits. But after seeing that many users facing the same issue, it seems to be larger issue. It probably need software update to fix the bug.
