i wonder what will happen with the display of nothing 3a ? will it be same cheap quality display as in phone 2a . My phone 2a is 5 days old , and it has pixel burn issue in status bar. Red tint on black portion of videos in HDR content. Black crush issues in Non-HDR content as well. i feel scammed after purchasing phone 2a. If a brand can cheat people like this during the initial growth year then you can think what they will do in their prime sale years.

I think they switched strategies. They surely realized that there were way more purchases of 2(a) then of 2. Meaning that the demand for middle ranged mobiles devices is bigger then for flagships. And now with India being likely a success (as said in the video) they are counting on that again as the user base grow bigger. And everyone that wants a more high profile phone will and can wait until Nothing 3 comes out later.

So basically simple economics may be the reason why first 3(a) then 3. I think that makes sense.

SPICER.09 unfortunately, the closest service center for me is at a minimum distance of 250 Kms. The return policies of ecommerce platform flipkart have also changed. As if I am forced to keep this product and definitely it will be my last product from nothing. This phone has literally nothing of quality inside it. Camera are worse and it is priced above INR 20000 + the charger needs to be bought separately. this is a huge blunder and definitely i can call it the scam of 2024. These youtubers are all liars and do not care about their audience. They can say or do anything for money.

*–( i am not just saying all these things, I have a long history with mobiles from all type of brands. I have used personally Gionee mobile, redmi note 5 , redmi note 7s , redmi note 9 pro, moto g45, redmi note 13 pro, moto edge 50 neo, iphone 4 , 5 , 7, X , samsung galaxy s23. I had bought this nothing phone 2a for a family member and now i feel terrible buying this worse phone)–.

As a matter of fact, the motorola g45 which is priced at around 11000 INR has a better display and far better camera than this phone 2a.

LEPE their user base will fall rapidly. Take a look at discussions in the community on other posts. People are facing issues with display of nothing phone 2a. I do not think they will ever trust this brand again. If a brand can cheat people like this during the initial growth year then you can think what they will do in their prime sale years. As in my case, i will never trust this brand again in my life. A display that does not last even upto a month.

SPICER.09 i hope the truth comes to life and this brand gets exposed. They did not even work on their OS and are planning to release a phone. No doubt the new device will also be full of bugs and a cheap quality hardware.

Do not create a negative atmosphere. Every manufacturer can have defects. For example, everything is fine with me. I think it’s the same for most people.

Alexshax why would someone create a negative environment ? we paid for the product and did not get it for free. There are countless video proofs about the issue on this community forum. you can take a look at those and confirm yourself. It’s easy for you to say defects. Defects are not like these where a full display panel is of worse quality. What is the use of a display in a phone if it can not even render a video correctly and gives pixel burn in 5 days. This is not an acceptable defect. People are shouting about it since 2024 and there are no official comments on this form the brand. they are ignoring this issue. I had mailed customer support and do you know what they replied ? It a common phenomenon for OLED displays to show green or red tints. That’s the dumbest answer anyone will hear. They are pretending like their phone is the only one in the market with an OLED panel.

LEPE because nothing community moderators are filtering and hiding the negative reviews. I just made a post today about the issue i was facing, customer support issue etc. and just after 5 minutes my post was assigned a hidden tag by the moderator.
