Nothing Community is useless

I know I know, its hard formulated but it’s kinda true.

If you suggest anything you get a reply “Feel free to submit a feature request via Settings -> System -> Feedback” and if you have a more specific questions you usally don’t get a good answer. There isn’t a App and the mobile view is bugging a little bit. Also it doesn’t match the Style of nothing. Its overloaded and Not optimised for mobile view.

But I don’t wanna hate to much because I Love nothing. Here are some good Points: you can Filter your Posts good; its nice to comunicate with other nothing members and ITS nice to See some concepts.

I hope know you can understand my opinion a little bit better.

Nicol_s_XmgnXEMWGu The title is a little harsh, don’t you think? as mentioned above this is a community platform where we, the community, can engage with each other. If you have a suggestion, you are more than welcome to share it with the community and start a discussion about it but it’s also important to understand that using the feedback tool is vital to make sure your suggestions & feedback reach the internal teams at Nothing.

But how would the community help you with some hardware/software issues?
The community can point out which features it would like, which ones it does not like, can discuss on features or on releases, but everything related to the device itself or the OS needs to go further into the company itself with the feedback option.
The community is a bunch of people talking about Nothing but not with Nothing as a company, as far as I understand.

It’s a tiny company and the phones are inexpensive.

This is where corners get cut. I’m OK with it as the CMF1 was only £169 and quite good. I don’t find the 2a/2a plus worth twice that price for essentially the same hardware.

When the price points are low, one should expect low levels of support and longevity of updates. The Samsung A15at a similar pricepoint gets 4 OS updates and 5 years of security updates (the S25 subsides this but NOTHING has no high pricepoint phones to do this with).

Daniel A community is a voice of customers. It conveys the problems people are facing with their devices. I am seeing the posts/threads related to Black crush issue and RED TINT issue on video playback on this community forum since last year. No official statement has come so far from Nothing about this. So, yes this nothing community is useless and Nothing is ignoring it’s customers. They paid youtubers to shut their mouths and no one talked about how bad the display of nothing 2a/2a plus is.

I am owner of 2a for 7 months, and don’t saw any problems with the display.

vovan-v i noticed one more thing yesterday night. It was all dark in my room and i was using phone 2a. On the lock screen , i dragged the notification panel down and of course the status bar icons also get dragged a bit down. Now guess what i noticed, i saw the Traces of all the icons in the status bar (network, battery icon etc.) on a part of the screen where they should not be even visible. Basically speaking a pixel burn in the status bar area and as i mentioned earlier i had bought my phone on 24th January, 2025. I shared this issue and a video to the customer support and they are ignoring my emails for the past 5 days now.

Thank you for your feedback. However, I believe some of your responses may have missed the core of my issue or I wasn’t clear.
While I understand this is not a service center, I’ve found that basic questions can be easily resolved through a simple Google search. Furthermore, more complex issues, such as the screen protector problem I encountered, remain unanswered.
And the more important part, why I should create ideas when I need to report them to nothing via settings?
While I acknowledge the community’s contributions, its current structure seems somewhat ineffective in addressing user concerns and implementing meaningful improvements.
