Bring back the N-Dot Double Line Clock (Lock Screen)

I LOVE the larger, two line centred N-Dot screen on the lock screen and it has sadly been removed.

Can we please have it back in a future update? As someone that personally doesn’t use any lock screen widgets, it would be very much appreciated!

I know there’s still the smaller, left aligned n dot clock (on the lock screen), but I personally just find the larger, centralised ndot clock face more aesthetically pleasing with my wallpapers.

Side note - Nothing OS 3.0 has been a pretty good update overall (quick settings is a MAJOR improvement). Already submitted feedback to Nothing directly. Attached image is what I found on reddit.

Same. I considered rolling back to 2.6 just for the clock.

Also, I was wondering whether the config file could be moved to NOS 3.0 but it’s been a very busy semester and I haven’t tried it yet.

The option is NOS 3.0 is vastly inferior, so I’m glad I’m not the only one that misses it.

CMF1_hacker Is it possible to roll it back to 2.6? How do you do it? I’m seriously considering it as well (but I’ve never done something like that before)

Nothing001 I agree. I thought it was super unique and people liked it when they saw it phone. I have a photo of my son after his first bicycle accident behind it, so it was a nice juxtaposition, that is no gone.

CMF1_hacker I’m on stable nothing 3.0 for nothing phone 2 - does that mean no rollback?

JennyDale There are way to unlock the bootloader and put whichever NOS you’d like. I usually get warnings if I link to them though, so you’d have to look around on your own.

I’d like to kindly request the return of the iconic double-line clock on the lock screen in the next update. It was a signature visual element that gave the Nothing OS a distinct, minimal, and futuristic feel — a subtle yet powerful design choice that set it apart. Many of us in the community appreciated its clean aesthetic and bold identity. Its removal feels like a step away from what made the user experience uniquely Nothing. Please consider bringing it back, or at least offering it as a customizable option — let users decide how they want their lock screen to look. After all, it’s those thoughtful little details that make a big difference.
