So having done a bit of homework and after reading all the ‘update’ dramas over battery life etc. I decided to get a new Nothing Phone 1 this week, activated developer mode before putting in a SIM and turned off the auto updates (and did the same on my Google Play settings)… and I have to say that the NP1 is an absolute gem of a phone and (as a replacement for my Samsung galaxy note 10 plus 5G ) I couldn’t be more pleased with it. So my thread here is asking if in it’s original slim NP1 OS1 guise it was in its best incarnation and the subsequent ‘updates’ just slowly moved away from its original ‘Nothing’ concept? I’ve added the dot matrix icon pack and it’s looking as cool as can be!!! 👏👏👏 Your thoughts as longer term NP1 owners? (Battery is still at 44% after 23hours so far! had it on battery saver all the time… )
