Why my phone 1 only reach 90hz instead of 120?

Hi guys…i dont know why but my phone 1 only let me use 90hz or 60hz refresh rate….someone knows why? Its a common issue or is just my unit? It will be an update to reach 120hz?

Do you have screenshots to share? Settings -> Display -> High Refresh Display Should be turned on, and in the description, you can read it dynamically switches between 60Hz and 120Hz.

U can see it…between 60-90 hz….and its activated….y not 120hz? Its a fail on the panel or what?

Ok…my girlfriend told me …“ imagine if its a problem like a fail or bug with the language”…so …ok if we put english on language instead of "gallego"my language….says 120hz…so guys…check if ur language says 120 or 90hz XD they should fix it

The OS is switching itself to 90hz instead of 120hz to save battery drain! Check what’s written underneath “120hz for some content”

So for eg if your scrolling it’ll switch to 90hz! For gaming 120hz! 60hz while watching videos! If you want always on 120hz then you can find an option under developer settings!

Yeah but take a look at the first screenshot, in some languages the info text says 60-90 not 60-120, so i think in some languages the translation is not correct

Hi Guys!

I think nothing should add an option to change the refresh rate to 90 Hz in Nothing OS.

The main reason I’m asking for this is to get a battery backup boost in my Phone (1) while keeping the screen animations farely smooth. I could change it to 60 Hz but it feels laggy.

What are your thoughts on this?
